How impermeable is a ZARGES Case?
The IP protection classifications fall into a number of different
levels. The level of protection is designated by means of a
double-digit figure. The first digit indicates the level of protection
against the ingress of solid substances, the second digit designates
the level of protection against the ingress of water. Depending on the
product range, there are cases which are spray proof (K470), and hose proof (Mitraset) and we also offer immersion and vapour proof cases
(K475).

What are the maximum possible dimensions of the K470 range as a customized product?
K 470 approx. 78" long x 40" wide x 35" high, external dimensions.

What are the minimum dimensions of the K470 range as a customized product?
K 470 approx. 11" long x 8" wide x 6" high, external dimensions.

What accessories does Zarges offer for its aluminum cases?
The range of accessories comprises standard internal fittings such as
Pick'n'Pluck foam, divider sets and lid inserts right through to
customer-specific foam inserts, paint finishes as well as inscriptions
and add-on items.

Can the cases be locked?
Basically all case ranges are lockable using a 0.2" key-lock. In the
case of the K470 and K450 ranges lock sets 40830/40831 will fit
(already supplied with the Mini, Mini plus, Midi, Maxi). In addition, a
lead seal with a 0.1" seal wire can also be supplied. The Alu Case K410
range is fitted with lockable clasps.

What is the maximum load-carrying capacity of the handles?
The handles have been tested for a load of up to 165 lb per handle.

Is it possible to have the item embossed with an inscription or company trade mark?
Yes, it is possible to emboss items using standard characters, 0.8" high, single- or multi-line.
